Learn how Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) can be easy and enjoyable!By using FPP in a way that does not have to be intimidating or difficult, Legit Kits puts award winning, artistic quilts within reach of any quilter who can sew a straight line. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced Paper Piecer, learn how to piece quickly and accurately while making a Legit masterpiece! You will learn FPP tips and tricks, how to organize a Legit Kit, cut fabric for each section, sew and join pieces, construct blocks, and assemble the final quilt. There are no curves or Y seams involved. The block construction methods are revolutionary and the results are stunning!

For this class, you will choose from the three options below.

1. Sewphia. Sewphia is brand new kit and is only available through a Legit Kits certified teacher for $279. Your teacher will bring the Sewphia kit to the class for you.
2. Choose any one of these class kits to work on during the class. The class kits are regularly $99, but if you order them through the teacher, you will get them for the discounted rate of $75 (a 25% savings!). You will receive the kit on the first day of the class.
3. Bring your own Legit Kits kit*. If you want a different Legit Kits kit, your teacher will provide you with a code for a 10% discount and free shipping when you order it online atlegitkits.com. It will be shipped directly to you.(*Not including Water Lily, Rose, or Orchid mini kits.)

Meet your teacher!

Becky Sanford has been quilting for almost 20 years. She was introduced to quilting by her grandmother and has participated in many quilt-alongs, bees, and swaps. When she first saw Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) she was truly amazed at the almost perfection that could be achieved with little skill. Becky’s first Legit Kits quilt was “Land of the Free”. As a seasoned paper piecer, she had never seen anything like it. She eventually became a pattern tester and is now a Legit Kits Certified Instructor.
